Sentiment
As expectations mounted that the Federal Reserve would need to maintain interest rates higher for longer, the US dollar strengthened and bond yields rose. The Canadian dollar rose in response to a positive job market report, outperforming its group-of-10 counterparts. The yen was also one of the top performers.
