Sentiment:
The yen recovered some of its losses after reaching its lowest level versus the dollar since November, with traders anticipating the BoJ policy meeting. Japanese policymakers are expected to keep their negative interest rate policy and yield curve control programme in place. The US dollar fell versus the majority of its G-10 counterparts.
