Sentiment
Prior to Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell's presentation before the Senate today, the dollar and Treasuries made a slight decline. Even after Powell said on Wednesday that authorities were on track for two more this year, the money markets are still predicting one 25 basis-point hike by September. Following a 50 basis point rate increase by Norges Bank, the Norwegian krone led currency advances. The Bank of England, Turkey, and Mexico are set to announce their policy decisions on Thursday. When hawkish central bank policies from the US to Norway to the UK hindered the market's bull run, stocks fell along with US equity futures. While investors evaluated a rush of US applications to create exchange-traded funds investing in the token's spot market, products American authorities have so far refused, a Bitcoin rise moderated near $30,000.
