The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) reported on Monday that Tesla sold 59,845 China-made automobiles in January.

Nio and Xpeng, both Chinese EV manufacturers, delivered 9,652 cars in January, up 33.6% year over year.

According to the CPCA, passenger automobile sales in China totaled 2.11 million in January, down 4.5% from a year ago.
