Electrek reported on Friday that Tesla has halted taking new orders for its flagship Model X and Model S vehicles outside of North America.

According to the source, Tesla expects deliveries outside of North America to begin in the second half of 2022, citing an email it started sending to clients waiting for their Model S and Model X orders in Europe.

Tesla did not immediately react to a request for comment, with its stock down roughly 2% in early trading.

The business had suspended the manufacture of the two models earlier this year while installing new equipment to scale up production, after delivering over 9,000 Model S and Model X cars to consumers in the third quarter.
