Treasury yields fell and the dollar fell further after the latest CPI print indicated signs of cooling US inflation. The report allows the Federal Reserve to slow the pace of future rate hikes, though Fed officials continue to press for more hikes to keep prices under control. All of the G-10 currencies rose in response to US inflation data, with the yen outperforming peers following a Yomiuri report that sparked speculation that the Bank of Japan might change its policy again.
