A measure of the dollar's strength slowed its earlier gains, trading stronger against its major counterparts, while the yen outperformed the group of ten, poised for its first gain against the greenback this week. The dollar rose to a more than one-month high earlier Thursday after US producer prices rose more than expected and Fed's Mester stated that she saw a compelling case for a 50 basis-point hike at the previous policy meeting.
