Sentiment
Most G-10 currencies rose against the dollar as risk sentiment improved, with the largest US financial institutions agreeing to deposit $30 billion in First Republic Bank to help the troubled lender. Treasury yields have risen. The crisis engulfing Credit Suisse Group AG showed few signs of abating on Thursday, as its bonds deteriorated further and the cost of insuring the debt against default rose. Early gains prompted by the lender's announcement that it would seek new funds from Switzerland's central bank were erased.
