A gauge of the dollar's strength fell for the session as traders digested comments from Fed Governor Lael Brainard, who said Thursday rates will need to remain high for some time in order to further cool inflation. The possibility of a policy shift by the Bank of Japan propelled the yen to the top of the group of ten currencies. Treasury yields increased.
