Good Morning Traders! The end of the week brings us UK Retail Sales and American Express Earnings.

Here is what to expect.

Before the Bank of Japan's policy announcement next week, investors in the Japanese bond market are preparing for turbulence that could put the yield goal to the test.

According to a former top official at the finance ministry, the Bank of Japan is unlikely to alter its yield curve control programme at its policy meeting next week given Governor Kazuo Ueda's recent dovish tone.

The first decline in consumer confidence in the UK in six months came as the threat posed by rising prices to household finances became more apparent.

On signals of tightening supply, oil was poised to post its fourth weekly rise, with liquidity dropping to its lowest level since January.
