Good Morning Traders! It's the end of the week, following on from the ECB rate decision yesterday, we get some French data sets.

Here is what else to keep an eye out for.

Sentiment

In Governor Kazuo Ueda's first unexpected action since taking over, the Bank of Japan startled the financial markets by easing its hold on bond yields. Some of the yen's previous, significant gains against the dollar were lost.

According to high frequency indicators, China's economic recovery continued to lose steam in July as consumers cut back on their spending and the real estate market showed no signs of revival.

On the back of a stronger macroeconomic outlook and indications of a tighter market, oil was on track for its longest streak of weekly rises in more than a year.

Homeowners are rapidly lowering their asking prices to entice cash-strapped Britons into transactions, increasing the possibility that property prices will fall further in the UK this year.
