The dollar index was flat this morning, while Treasuries rose alongside Gilts after a UK gauge of factory price inflation eased.
After Australia's inflation accelerated to the fastest rate in 32 years, the Australian dollar jumped to a five-month high, and bonds reversed early gains.
European equity markets fell for the second day in a row, while US equity futures fell.

The Bank of Canada led its peers in a series of exorbitant interest-rate hikes last year and may now be the first to stop, though doing so will present a communications challenge for Governor Macklem.
