US stock futures hold slight gains; S&P 500 futures ticked 0.1% higher as of 5:30 a.m. in New York this morning; the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 Index gained 0.2% after a four-day straight drop, which had not been seen since October; short-term rates for container shipping between Asia, Europe, and the US are climbing on reduced capacity caused by the ongoing threats to cargo vessels in the Red Sea. Treasuries twist steepen, outperforming bunds, gilts as a result of revised higher German and UK PMI numbers; the dollar falls, ending a four-day run of advances.
